The black bird is a mirror of the mask La Peste from the Venice Carnival, connecting to the past where humanity went through similar periods of contagion and death in Europe. Dark and challenging times, we can now read about in history books.
The white cloud in the distance stands for the light, the purification, and the future's hope. That we will emerge from our present dark as in the past, and this also becomes part of history for new generations.
Closing the circle and beginning anew.
